President Nicolás Maduro highlights progress in cooperation with China

In his broadcast of the program Maduro Live de Repente, the president, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the importance of advances in bilateral relations between Venezuela and China.

In this regard, he shared details about the meetings he held, from Beijing, between the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, and high-level authorities of the Chinese Government.

The Head of State emphasized that Rodríguez's visit has made it possible to “refine agreements in all areas and significant achievements in areas such as the economy, trade and energy cooperation.”

“There is impressive news of the achievements that this visit is already making in terms of cooperation and trade agreements,” he said.

He also mentioned that advances are not limited only to the economic aspect, but that they cover sectors such as tourism, health and artificial intelligence.

“We are making progress on many issues,” he stressed and indicated that these meetings are essential to deepen and accelerate the plans established at his meeting with Chinese President, Xi Jinping, in September 2023.

During his words, he highlighted the importance of the Venezuela-China relationship, pointing out the “strategic partnership of these characteristics with only four countries in the world,” and the Venezuelan Nation becomes the fifth country, being the only one in Latin America and the Caribbean with a Strategic Partnership, All the Time and Time, at all times.”

President Nicolás Maduro reaffirms his commitment to strengthening ties between Venezuela and China, in a context where international cooperation plays a key role for development and cooperation between both nations.
