The president of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH), Reidy Zambrano, carried out an inspection of communities in the state of Aragua with the purpose of verifying the operation of the network of meteorological stations and strengthening training processes in meteorological literacy.

During the day, the INAMEH and Civil Protection teams verified the conditions of the stations in the sectors of Camburito, El Castaño and Palmari, in the Girardot municipality, as well as in El Chorrito and Piñal del Norte, in El Limón, Mario Briceño Iragorry municipality.
It should be noted that the visit included the participation of Community Meteorological Observers, spokespersons for the communes and representatives of the Community Councils, who evaluated the location of meteorological instruments, risk maps and vulnerable areas.
For his part, César Martínez, spokesman for the commune, recognized the work that the organized community has done together with the Risk Management System: “The community believes in the work we are doing; that force of Popular Power, with the popular, military and police fusion, has been a perfect key.”
