The president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, declared that the end of the war imposed by the terrorist government of Israel against his nation was decided by the will of his government in order to stop the “adventurism” of the Zionist regime.
“Although the initiator of this imposed war was the terrorist enemy, its end was determined by the will and authority of the great Iranian nation,” he insisted.
In declaring the end of the 12-day war with Israel, Pezeshkian noted that “the world observed the authority of greater Iran, which had the support of its people (...) My dear compatriots, dear and fervent people of Iran. Today, after the courageous resistance of your great nation, which made history, we witnessed a ceasefire and the cessation of the 12-day war imposed on the Iranian nation by the adventurism and incitement of the Zionist regime,” said the head of state of Iran.
In the same way, he stressed that all the honor of this historic victory belongs to the great nation of Iran, creator of civilization. In addition, Tel Aviv and Tehran announced a ceasefire on Tuesday in the midst of military escalation between the two nations.
Among the talks about the end of the war held with various leaders, including the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, Pezeshkian stated that the Zionist regime attacked Iran believing that the country did not have the power to respond to this aggression.
Pezeshkian also emphasized that his nation is ready for dialogue and that he will protect the interests of the Iranian people at the negotiating table.
