President of PEQUIVEN inspected Hugo Chávez Petrochemical Complex in Morón

The president of Petrochemistry of Venezuela S.A. (PEQUIVEN), José David Cabello, carried out an inspection at the Hugo Chávez Petrochemical Complex, located in Morón, Carabobo state, with the objective of evaluating the damage caused by the double earthquake of last June 24 and verifying the progress of recovery actions.

Through his Instagram account, he indicated that the inspection was timely to confirm the commitment to increase the operational capacity of the petrochemical sector with the workers.

“We confirm the intention to move forward together with the PEQUIVEN workforce to boost internal processes and maximize the technical performance of the petrochemical sector,” he said.

Cabello added that the actions are also aimed at preserving the safety of workers and contributing to the country's economic development. “We work to ensure the safety and comprehensive well-being of all our workers, in order to boost the nation's economic growth,” he said.
