President of Syria congratulates the Venezuelan people and their president for “confirming their free will”

Through the social network X, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, shared a statement issued by the government of Bashar Al Assad in the Syrian Arab Republic, in which he congratulates President Nicolás Maduro Moros on the electoral victory.

“We appreciate the congratulations of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Al Assad on the electoral victory of President @NicolasMaduro in the presidential elections. The Venezuelan people have ratified their will to defend the sovereignty and independence of their homeland,” wrote the Venezuelan diplomat.
