The president of the National Autonomous Cinematography Center (CNAC), Román Chamorro, held a meeting with the audiovisual community of the state of Aragua at the Teatro Ateneo de Maracay, as part of an agenda aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation with the sector.

During the activity, Chamorro highlighted the importance of regional cinema and the coordination with institutions such as the Film Network, the National Experimental University of the Arts and the Bicentennial University, as well as with students, teachers and filmmakers, with the purpose of promoting projects that have emerged in the entity.

The meeting brought together representatives of the cinematographic field, including spokespersons from the Gran Cine Circuit, the National Association of Cinematographic Authors (ANAC) and regional cultural platforms, as well as independent producers, cultural movements and community organizations.

The day allowed participants to present initiatives, needs and proposals, with a view to building a road map that promotes the creation, exhibition and preservation of audiovisual content with a local identity.

These actions are part of a CNAC strategy to strengthen cinema from the regions, through the direct participation of its actors and the design of policies that promote national production
