The President of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, María Soto, analyzed the return of baseball to the calendar of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Soto indicated that for this Olympic edition, only six teams will be allowed to participate in the baseball discipline.

He also stressed that Venezuela's victory against Japan, with an 8-5 score, constitutes a fundamental milestone that demonstrates the high level of the national team, and emphasized his satisfaction with this performance.
