President of the INTT delivers certifications to carriers at the Puerto Cabello Passenger Terminal

The president of the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), Luis Granko, supervised the “Juan José Flores” Land and Tourist Passenger Terminal in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, where he confirmed the operation of the city's main public transport station and formally issued two Service Delivery Certifications (CPS), in the DT9 classification to the service operators “Isla del Mar” and “Colectivo Unidos Ocumare de la Costa ”.

This deployment on the port platform had as its priority objective to support and dignify the public transport service providers that live in the area, evaluating the operating conditions of the terminal to optimize the operations of the 18 lines that work there, reports the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace on its social networks.

The President of the INTT emphasized the importance of road regulation in the sector through the delivery of these certifications, which allow carriers that cover local, suburban and interurban routes to operate under the strictest legality.

During the tour of the terminal, together with the mayor of the municipality, Juan Carlos Betancourt, the authorities emphasized direct attention and the control of current driving permits (DT9 and DT10).

They also supervised the fair payment of the ticket as established in the Official Gazette, with particular care on the most frequent route connecting Puerto Cabello to Valencia.

This comprehensive oversight and support for the professionals behind the wheel was carried out in conjunction with the Traffic Service of the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB), who collaborated in the verification of regulatory documentation for driving.

The deployment was carried out following the direct care policies promoted by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, aimed at improving the national mobility system, protecting the user and strengthening the public transport sector in accordance with the provisions of the Land Transport Act.
