President of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran congratulated the People of Venezuela on elections of the 25th

The president of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, congratulated the People of Venezuela for the resounding victory in the recent elections of the deputies to the National Assembly, governorates and Legislative Councils.

From the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas, where he is holding a bilateral meeting with the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, Qalibaf said that he hopes that this recent (electoral) victory will be a new change, always moving towards the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

He also thanked the entire delegation for their hospitality since they arrived in Venezuela. “I am very grateful to have been able to travel to this country just at the time of this important juncture in Venezuela, such as your victory in these elections,” he said.

At the same time, he recalled that these times coincide with the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Qalibaf arrived at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, this Sunday where he was received by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil. Later, at the National Pantheon, the Iranian parliamentarian paid tribute to the Liberator Simon Bolivar with a floral offering.
