President of the Supreme Court highlights a 24% increase in the resolution of cases prosecuted by courts

Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, President of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ). during the opening speech of the Judicial Year 2026, he highlighted in the Management report that 5,533,890 people were treated and impacted by actions of Venezuelan courts.

“Going into the examination of the results of the year 2025, we must emphasize the increase in compliance with institutional objectives, as can be seen in the issuance of 6,292 judgments, which constitute the highest criteria for the nation's legality and represent an increase of 24% compared to 2024,” said the magistrate at this session solemnly in the presence of the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

He added the commitment of magistrates, including the Communal Justices of the Peace, to procedural speed and the guarantee of the due right to justice in the territory, reaching 832,763 pronouncements, equivalent to an overall increase of 55.83% compared to the year 2024,

He also stressed the importance of the country's institutional strength in the face of the acts of force that occurred in the country and paid a heartfelt tribute to the Venezuelan presidential couple, kidnapped by United States military forces on January 3rd.
