This Wednesday, during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Ankara, the capital of Kazakhstan, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, valued the relationship with the government of Xi Jinping.
“The collaboration between Moscow and Beijing is not directed against anyone,” President Putin emphasized, adding that “relations between Russia and China are at the best moment in their history, based on the principles of equal rights.”
This is the second meeting of both leaders in less than two months. Thus, in May, Putin visited China on his first trip abroad after the inauguration, where he signed a declaration with Xi on strengthening ties, global partnership and strategic interaction between Moscow and Beijing. In addition, the respective delegations signed 10 bilateral documents.
