Presidents of Venezuela and Cuba hold bilateral meeting

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros and his counterpart from Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, held a pleasant meeting in Moscow, capital of the Russian Federation, regarding their stay to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic Victory.

During the meeting, the leaders of Venezuela and Cuba, anecdotally, shared opinions on important issues. President Maduro, through his Telegram channel, shared images of the meeting.

The Venezuelan head of state wrote: “Meeting with President Díaz-Canel in Russia is another demonstration to the world of how sovereign peoples build alliances of respect, cooperation and peace. Excellent working day!”

Both leaders ratified their relations with Russia, as part of the celebrations for Victory Day, when the 80th anniversary of the triumph of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany is commemorated.

Previously, the heads of state Maduro and Díaz-Canel, representing the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America. Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), paid tribute to the Liberator Simon Bolivar in the square that bears his name on Moscovite Lomonosov Avenue, Moscow, Russia.
