This Saturday, January 31, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) shared a statement to denounce and condemn the Executive Order issued by the Government of the United States (USA) against Cuba, intensifying the economic and commercial blockade.
“This new aggression by the U.S. government, which intensifies the criminal blockade against Cuba for more than six decades and repeatedly rejected by the United Nations, violates International Law, Human Rights and attacks a sovereign nation that does not represent a threat to the United States or to any country in the world,” the PSUV said in the document it shared through its Telegram channel.
For this reason, the red awning reiterated its solidarity with the People of Cuba; and called on “the progressive forces of the region and the free peoples of the world to defend the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, and to unite in rejection of blackmail and pressure against Cuba, for the future of humanity.”
