Public Ministry served more than 100,000 people with the “Drive for Life” program

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, took stock of the deployment of the “Drive for Life” traffic accident prevention program, within the framework of the Happy and Safe Carnival Device 2025, highlighting that 106,449 citizens have been immediately treated in coordinated actions with security forces.
The Public Ministry, on its account on the social network Instagram, reported that this instance deployed 387 officials at the Citizen Service Points to ensure faithful compliance with traffic regulations and thus safely guarantee the enjoyment and enjoyment of the Venezuelan people in these Carnivals 2025.
In this regard, he specified that 1,232 offenders have been registered, of which 811 correspond to motorized vehicles, 307 to cars and 114 to other vehicles.
He also indicated that 155 traffic accidents have been prosecuted nationwide, with a total of 26 deaths and 101 injured.
Saab highlighted that despite this number of deaths and injuries, it has been possible to verify a significant decrease in road traffic during this holiday season.
