Puerto Cabello Historic Center received more than 13,000 visits in February

The Historic Center of Puerto Cabello, one of the main tourist and cultural spaces in the state of Carabobo, registered more than 13,000 visits during the month of February, according to the director of the Casa Herrera Museum, Kareilys Gómez.
According to the official, during the second month of the year, 13,439 visitors were treated, distributed among 5,498 women, 3,854 men, 975 girls, 917 boys, 1,712 teenagers and 527 older adults, who toured the complex accompanied by tourist guides.
Gómez noted that the venue received visitors from different municipalities of Carabobo and from states such as Apure, Aragua, Anzoátegui, Barinas, Bolívar, Cojedes, Capital District, Falcón, Guárico, Lara, La Guaira, Monagas, Mérida, Miranda, Nueva Esparta, Portuguesa, Sucre, Táchira, Trujillo, Yaracuy and Zulia.
He also indicated that the staff of the complex provided attention to international tourists from Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Japan, Panama, Peru and Russia, which projects the city as a tourist destination of international interest.
During February, visitors toured emblematic spaces in the historic center such as the Malecón and Plaza Bolívar, places that are part of the city's main cultural and tourist attractions.
This record number of visits to the Historic Center of Puerto Cabello reflects the efficiency of the tourism policies that President Nicolás Maduro directs. These actions are under the joint leadership of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez and the governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, to consolidate the entity as a favorite destination in Venezuela and the world.
