The Venezuelan U20 Women's national team, with an alternative team, finished the group stage in the South American category with a goalless draw against their Chilean counterpart.

With this equality, those led by Ángel Hualde finish second in the standings and together with Colombia and Paraguay they are the ones who enter the final stage of the tournament where they will face each other against the three teams that enter this phase from the other group.

The tie came after 90 minutes of great intensity, where Vinotinto was the one who proposed the most when it came to attacking through players like Marielbis Gutiérrez and Francelis Graterol, who attacked endlessly on the sidelines.

Chile endured and little by little they were looking to get into the goal defended by Ivana Veloz, but without much luck in the face of a well-placed Creole defense throughout the match.

The clearest warning was given by Anggely Muñoz after a distant shot that crashed on the crossbar during the first half. Muñoz herself had another great chance when she executed a corner kick that also hit the crossbar.

Once the final whistle sounded, the team celebrated, but knowing that they must now focus on the final phase, one that gives four places to the World Cup Poland 2026.
