The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the appointment of Ramón Orlando Maniglia Ferreira as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Colombia.

Ramón Orlando Maniglia Ferreira has an impeccable track record, defined by discipline and a deep institutional commitment to the nation. Admiral of the Bolivarian Navy and a professional of the highest level, he has an excellent academic background that he has placed at the service of the country in various positions of high responsibility.

By assuming this high responsibility, Ramón Maniglia becomes the highest representative of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy in New Granada territory.

This decision by the Legislative Branch marks a clear road map for the consolidation of peace and economic development on the continent's liveliest border.
