REDI Capital presents balance of operations for 2025

From the headquarters of the Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI) Capital No. 8, Major General (M/G) Dilio Rodríguez Díaz presented the official balance sheet of the operations executed during the year 2025. In his speech, he highlighted the success of the strategy of “active resistance and permanent offensive”, in compliance with the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB).

He also asserted that, during the year, the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zones (ZODI) of Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda increased their response capacity by carrying out six military exercises per area. This training effort resulted in the cohesion of 5,013 new fighters and the formation of 841 Community Militia Units, strengthening the territorial arm of national defense.

In addition, M/G Rodríguez Díaz reported that, in total, REDI Capital participated in 22 military operations, in which a force force of 211,381 fighters and 151 Rapid Reaction Units (URRA) were used in combat.

The head of REDI Capital indicated that the fight against illegal trafficking and organized crime yielded convincing figures after the execution of 288 security deployments and two special operations.

Beyond territorial surveillance, REDI Capital played an active role in social welfare through the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles). In this regard, during 2025, military personnel intervened in the rehabilitation of 916 educational and health centers to guarantee the right to decent infrastructure for the people.

The report concludes with the unwavering commitment of civic-military union: “In the Strategic Region of Integral Capital Defense, doubting is treason; we will remain integrated to win,” stressed M/G Dilio Rodríguez Díaz.
