Regional authorities oversee final phase of restoration at Maestranza César Girón

This Tuesday, authorities from the state of Aragua carried out an inspection visit to the Maestranza César Girón, an emblematic architectural heritage of Maracay, to monitor the progress of the comprehensive restoration, which is already in its closing phase, along the lines of the second transformation “More Humane Cities”.

During the tour, Mayor Rafael Morales expressed his satisfaction with the pace of work. He also recalled that this iconic place has been renamed the “Plaza de Todos”, to turn the venue into a cultural and social meeting point for the entire community.

The works are not limited to the main structure, but include the adaptation of outdoor spaces under a concept of environmental sustainability. Priority has been given to green areas, friendly design and elements that promote healthy citizen coexistence.
