In the town of Barcelona, capital of the Anzoátegui state, a waste collection plan built together with popular power was activated to directly serve more than 75,000 families from seven communal circuits.

These are more than 120 operators equipped with tools and trucks who will be responsible for reinforcing cleaning on an 8.3-kilometer road axis, from the Noel Rodríguez Distributor to the traffic light of the Universidad de Oriente (UDO).

In the first stage, 14 collection routes are activated in conjunction with the Barcelona Recycling Corporation (Recibar), the Public Services Corporation, the municipalities of the territory and a recycling company, to prevent waste from being exposed on the main road, according to the regional press.
