Regional government flags Aragüeña delegation for the National Student Sports Games

The Aragüeña delegation that will represent that state in the 2025 National Student Sports Games was championed at the Youth Monument of La Victoria.

The governor of the entity, Joana Sánchez, led the event, accompanied by Carlos España, president of the IRDA; Juan Carlos Sánchez, mayor of the José Félix Ribas municipality and Manuel López, the state's Secretary of Youth.

“We are in the historic monument to our youth, heroes and heroines of the country,” said Sánchez. “Today we are in this space surrounded by so much identity, championing 171 boys, girls and teenagers who are going to the nineteenth edition of the National Student Sports Games.”

The flag fell to two athletes with outstanding careers: Alin Haidar, a taekwondo figure, and Joshua Prada, a promising young athlete.

The entire delegation is made up of 102 male and 69 female athletes, with a total of 171 competitors. In addition, coaches and delegates join the team, bringing the total number of the delegation to 240 members.
