Regional government rehabilitates roads in Portuguesa's coffee area

More than 400 kilometers will be serviced

With the intervention of the regional government, more than 416 kilometers of roads will be rehabilitated in Portuguese with the activation of the Comprehensive Rural Road Plan 2026 in the coffee growing area of the Ospino municipality.

To begin the work, the road was conditioned with granular material and eight axes of the upper area and the road connection of 71 communities was improved. The plan covers Daniel Camejo Avenue, highlighting that the works will directly benefit more than 4,449 families and especially the agricultural sector in one of the municipalities in Portuguesa that produces the most coffee.

In addition, with Plan Zero Holes in the central area of Ospino, where pavement faults will be corrected both in avenues and cross streets of the city and in 42 communities, details regional press.

The work will facilitate the mobility of 15,000 families, as they will improve passability over 16 kilometers. Among the ways to be intervened are Sucre and Daniel Camejo Acosta avenues, El Tejal and Lisandro Alvarado streets, the main road to the hospital and 17 cross streets
