Rehabilitation work at the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater in Cumaná progresses by 80%

The rehabilitation work of the “Luis Mariano Rivera” Theater, in Cumaná, Sucre state, is progressing by 80%, with the objective of providing the population with decent spaces for the enjoyment of culture and performing arts.
This was reported by the president of the “Luis Mariano Rivera” Theater Foundation, Anil Pestano, who stressed that the restoration and conditioning of this cultural epicenter of the city of Cumaná began last May, in compliance with the policies promoted by the governor of the entity, Gilberto Pinto, through the development plan “Grand Marshal of Ayacucho”.
In this regard, he explained that “we began the recovery and modernization of this theater, in order to transform 100% of these facilities, which for a long time have served as the stage for countless national and international performances”.
The works include the replacement of the floor of the main hall of the theater, recovery of the seats, improvements to the electrical system, air conditioning and modernization of the lobby, have been part of the work that has been carried out so far.
