With the firm objective of transforming road infrastructure and boosting regional economic development, the Government of Apure State maintains five simultaneous fronts of work active in various municipalities of the entity.

This massive deployment of machinery and technical personnel seeks to reverse years of neglect in strategic road arteries.

The governor of the state, Wilmer Rodríguez, provided details on the points of intervention, noting that crews and heavy machinery are already operating in critical sectors such as San Rafael de Atamaica, San Juan de Payara and the La Estacada highway, located in the Muñoz municipality.

During his inspection, the regional president emphasized the transparency and efficiency of the works: “We are not telling stories here; the machines are already working and the people know it.” Rodríguez emphasized that the fundamental purpose of this management is to restore passability to rural and urban areas that had a high level of deterioration.

One of the priorities of this plan is the strengthening of productive routes. In this regard, management is making strong progress on the Achaguas-Guachara route, a vitally important route for transporting food and raw materials.

To optimize results, the Regional Executive evaluates innovative technical solutions and studies the application of cold asphalt in this section, in order to accelerate execution times and ensure that agricultural production in the area has an efficient outlet to the main centers of consumption.

With these actions, the Government of Apure reaffirms its commitment to improving public services and providing direct support to local producers, in order to consolidate an optimal road network for the state's growth.
