In a meeting with the inhabitants of the San Agustín parish, the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar, together with the head of the Ven25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed their commitment to working hand in hand with the people through house-to-house tours.
During the day, Rodríguez highlighted initiatives of the Bolivarian Revolution aimed at the community, including the construction of sports fields, the creation of cultural spaces and the establishment of popular wineries with affordable prices.
In this regard, Rodríguez said: “President Maduro has instructed us to carry out campaigns that are close to the people, that listen to their needs, their expectations and their hopes.”
He also highlighted the importance of consolidating welfare plans for the Caracas parish. “This people deserve it because they defeated the sanctions, defeated the blockade and now comes the time for prosperity,” he said.
In addition, Rodríguez denounced that sectors of the right are trying to capture the popular vote despite having been responsible for the sanctions that have affected citizens. “They registered coup plotters and extremists for the National Assembly. Do you think they're going to work for the people?” , he questioned.
He referred to the need to guarantee the return of Venezuelan migrants and called for justice for the case of the girl Maikelys Espinoza, while noting that the campaign will continue with the purpose of raising the voice of citizens and addressing issues of social interest.
