The head of the Venezuelan Delegation for Dialogue, Jorge Rodríguez, indicated that the talks between the governments of the United States and Venezuela have been frank and in cordial terms.

“We hope that it will continue once President Nicolás Maduro is re-elected on July 28,” Rodríguez said during the radio program Mesa de Dialogo, on the Colombian radio station W Radio.

He stressed that there is no political leader like President Nicolás Maduro, who has called for dialogue with sectors of the opposition since the beginning of his first government.

He denounced that the ultra-right is not preparing for elections but rather to try to destabilize the country, while recalling that the Venezuelan Head of State, “after being elected on July 29, will call on all sectors of politics to a dialogue that will bring everyone closer to prosperity.”
