“The most important objective of the Amnesty Bill for Democratic Coexistence is that we move to a new stage in Venezuelan politics where confrontation will have given way to understanding, to dialogue, to all acting, without threats, without force, without violence, as done to obtain political objectives,” said the deputy to the National Assembly (AN) Roy Daza.
During an interview on the program Café en la Mañana, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he indicated that, as part of this law, a consultation process is under way with all political and social sectors, where various proposals have emerged to be included in these regulations in order to guarantee peace and encounter between all Venezuelans.
“This Law is an attack by the people so that we maintain peace, the stability of the country, that we advance in economic matters and there is understanding, dialogue... Above all, there is the peace of the country, the sovereignty of Venezuela; I think that marks a very concrete pattern in what politics should be from now on,” he said after assuring that all sectors must act with maturity and wisdom.
On the other hand, he pointed out that this project has very clear objectives, procedures and limits guided by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Therefore, he stated that citizens benefiting from this law must respect the agreements.
“A society cannot give impunity to a person to do what they want to do and to develop a situation of violence in the country. This amnesty law must remove violence from the political struggle,” he said.
