The Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin, during a meeting with the Vice President of Brazil, Geraldo Alckmin, stated that Moscow is willing to share with Brasilia its achievements in the development of nuclear energy technologies for peaceful purposes.

In addition, he noted that Russia is open to developing cooperation with the South American nation “in areas as promising as the implementation of Artificial Intelligence, digital public services and automated solutions for citizens in the most diverse sectors.”

During the 8th meeting of the High-Level Commission for Cooperation between Russia and Brazil, Mishustin noted that for the successful implementation of common plans, “it is necessary to increase reciprocal payments in national currencies, develop direct banking interaction, more actively use an independent payment and settlement architecture, form modern transport corridors and create new logistic production chains. Therein lies the guarantee of a successful joint advance,” he said.

He stressed that the Russian delegation's visit to the South American giant is being commissioned by President Vladimir Putin. “He emphasized that Russia and Brazil, which were at the origins of the creation of the BRICS, are coherent and related allies when it comes to the formation of a truly just and multipolar world order,” he said.
