Russia makes fourth delivery of 1,200 Ukrainian military corps killed in combat

The Russian Federation handed over 1,200 bodies for previous transfers, in compliance with the agreements reached by the delegations of both countries in early June in Istanbul, Türkiye.

“Russia continues to implement the Istanbul agreements. Today, another 1,200 bodies of fallen soldiers have been delivered to Ukraine,” Telesur said.

According to information from the media, this new installment amounts to a total of 4,800 bodies transferred in the last few days: 1,212 on June 11, 1,200 on June 13, 1,200 on June 14 and 1,200 this Sunday.

During the second round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, held in Istanbul on June 2, Moscow announced its unilateral commitment to hand over to Kiev the bodies of 6,000 deceased Ukrainian soldiers.

For its part, Russia reported that it has already identified the identities of these victims, showing its willingness to comply with this humanitarian gesture.
