Russia: Tensions in the Middle East are in no one's favor

This Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov assured that an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East does not favor the interests of Israel, Iran or anyone in the region.

 

In this regard, he reported that the Russian Government is in permanent contact with Israel and Iran with the aim of reducing tensions and urged all nations in the region to show reasonable restraint .

 

It should be noted that Iran attacked with drones and missiles on the night of Saturday, April 14, in response to the murder of seven Iranians by Israel, including two veteran commanders, in an attack on the consular section of the Embassy of the Persian country in Syria on the first of this month, according to a note from Xinhua.
