The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, during a government meeting, denounced the failed attempt by Ukrainian regime troops into the province of Kursk launched last Tuesday.

“The Kiev regime has undertaken another large-scale provocation, indiscriminately firing with various types of weapons, including rockets, at civilian buildings, residential homes and ambulances,” Putin said.

According to the president, “immediately” after the meeting, he will hold a meeting with the heads of the security agencies: the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the Federal Security Service (FSB).

He added that instructions have also already been given to a number of civil organizations to provide the necessary assistance to the population of the province. “I also ask the Government to do so without delay,” he said.

The Russian Investigative Committee reported that, as a result of the Ukrainian aggression, several dozen civilians, including children, as well as military personnel, were injured.
