The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek Williams Saab, described the report presented by the so-called Fact-Finding Mission of the United Nations (UN) as a montage because it lacks evidence.
“They had no sources, no witnesses, no victims or relatives, they asked them to send anonymous writing to an email that they created themselves,” Saab emphasized during the program Cable a Tierra, broadcast by VTV Radio.
He denounced that the Fact-Finding Mission was created with the objective of sabotaging the relationship between the Venezuelan State and the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
“The report is full of lies, it is not compared to the report of the Public Ministry in relation to these events in real time, at the scene of the events, where 550 steps were carried out through 40 different means of proof; on the other hand, the mission has no means of proof. They didn't set foot in Venezuela,” he emphasized.
