The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME)
announced the extension of the special days for card renewal
and data verification without an appointment until February 6.
According to the information issued by the identifying entity,
through their Instagram account, those who
obtained their document in the last six months will not be able to renew it in these
operations, unless they are duly reported cases of theft or loss.
The requirements for data verification are: In the case of Venezuelans: a simple copy of the birth certificate. While for naturalized individuals, a copy of the proof of naturalization or official gazette is required.
