SAIME authorizes passport withdrawal from immediate family members (+details)

The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) reported that it has a new service for withdrawing passports through an immediate family member who goes to the main office in downtown Caracas.

According to information published on the social network Instagram, this modality is available only at the Simón Bolívar office, where they must submit an authorization indicating the data of the person to whom it will be delivered within 72 hours of processing the request.

You must also submit the authorization form, issued by SAIME, and cancel an administrative fee and provide an identity document that validates the kinship of the applicant and the authorized person.
