Some 500 people from the most remote areas of the Delta Amacuro state will be served by the mayor's office of the Antonio Díaz municipality, together with the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME), as part of the “pipe by pipe” identification plan.
The operation that takes place from February 9 to 14 aims to facilitate the renewal and issuance of cards for the first time to the Warao and Jotarao population, avoiding transfers of more than 24 hours to the capital, according to a press release.
The deployment prioritizes adults and children from the El Ramance sectors of Sacupana, El Toro and Arature, ensuring that minors are immediately registered in the social protection system.
