SAIME offices are authorized to receive death reports

The procedure must be carried out before the SAIME by an immediate family member

The 141 offices of the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) located throughout the country are authorized to process the updating of the status of deceased persons.

Through a post on its Instagram account, the entity explained that in the case of the capital city, management must be done from the Citizen Services office, located at the headquarters of SAIME, which is located in Plaza Caracas, Santa Teresa parish.

The procedure must be requested exclusively by direct relatives of the deceased person, that is, father, mother, adult children and husband.

To make the request, the interested party must provide several documents such as the original and a copy of the death certificate, in addition to the copy of the identity card of the deceased and the applicant.
