The Venezuelan Salvador Pérez was the figure in the victory of the Kansas City Royals 8-6 over the Seattle Mariners, at Kauffman Stadium and surpassed Víctor Martínez among the Venezuelans with more games of three or more RBIs.

Captain Perez went 4-3 with one run scored and three RBIs, including the two that gave his team an advantage and victory.

For Salvy, it was his second match of the season with three or more RBIs and number 95 for life, thus surpassing Víctor Martínez (94) as the sixth Venezuelan with the most matches of these characteristics in all time, according to Baseball-Reference.

Pérez shows an offensive line of .289/.340/.489 for OPS of .829 in his recent 12 games, starting May 12. He recorded 13 hits, including three home runs, in addition to seven chartered and five scored in that period, according to the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League press.

Those three rounters he accumulated in the recent period brought his harvest total to eight and his career total to 311. He is now just six home runs away from matching Cooperstown Hall of Famer George Brett (317) as the franchise leader for life in that department.

The list of Venezuelans with the most games of three or more games pushed is led by Miguel Cabrera with 193, followed by Andrés Galarraga (130), Bob Abreu (118), Magglio Ordoñez (111), Eugenio Suárez (101), Salvador Pérez (95) and Víctor Martínez (94).
