The students belonging to the Astronomy seedbeds of the Teaching Center for Science Teaching (CDEC), Yaracuy nucleus, held a rocket festival, entitled “Seeds to Space”, an activity that combined creativity and scientific enthusiasm for this branch of science.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), this training experience focused on the construction and launch of rockets made from recycled materials, promoting practical learning and teamwork.

The participants transformed everyday objects into handmade rockets, applying principles of physics and aerodynamics.

The activity reinforced young people's knowledge about propulsion and movement, but it also fostered values such as creativity, sustainability and the appropriation of scientific knowledge from an early age.
