Last Saturday, February 28, a specialized team from Venezolana de Cable Cars began cutting-edge overhaul work on the Mukumbarí Cable Car System, in the state of Mérida.

The technical shutdown, in its second phase, seeks the optimization of electromechanical components with 4th and 5th level settings, including the maintenance of motors, reducers and brakes, crucial elements for the efficient circulation of the cabins

The initiative ensures that the highest and longest cable car in the world continues to operate under the strictest international quality standards for the enjoyment of both locals and visitors.

These maneuvers are carried out by the National Government through the management of the Minister of Tourism, Daniella Cabello, with the aim of complying with safety protocols and protection of the national tourist infrastructure.

In addition, the actions are integrated into the plan for the transformation and care of tourist assets, to guarantee safety, quality and excellence for the enjoyment of both locals and visitors.
