Sector Vice President Cabello: By eliminating the checkpoints, we maximize the patrolling of the Peace Quadrants

This Thursday, September 10, the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that among the actions to strengthen the Peace Quadrants, “is to maximize patrolling with the elimination of checkpoints.”

“The Peace Quadrants are essential because they have radios, telephones, vehicles and motorcycles. This is essential for people's peace of mind,” he said during a supervisory tour in Boca de Aroa, Silva municipality of Falcón state, an area that was hit by the double earthquake of last June 24.

In that sense, he said that, since it is a tourist area, “there has to be maximum security so that people come here and it's 10 o'clock at night, they can be on the beach and nothing happens to them”.

During the day, Cabello was accompanied by the governor of the entity, Víctor Clark, shared with the inhabitants who live in the municipality of Falconi, listened to their statements and directly verified the conditions of the affected families.

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, stressed that he asked the governor of the entity and the mayor of the town, that “we are going to take care of the theme of parks, because children have to design their park”.

He also stated that the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, is constantly aware of all communities, “ministers must come too.”
