Sectorial Vice President of Communication led meeting with the National Public Media System

Through his Instagram account, the sector vice president
of Communication and Culture, Miguel Pérez Pirela, reported that he held a meeting
with presidents and directors of television and radio stations of the National Public
Media System, in order to repromote joint communication policies in
favor of Venezuelan identity and sovereignty.
“Meeting with Presidents and Directors of TV and radio stations of the National Public Media
System to consolidate the mechanism and revival of joint communication
policies for the identity, sovereignty and
well-being of our Venezuela,” he wrote on the social network.
The
meeting also sought the unification of criteria and the application of journalistic
strategies to ensure quality
news coverage adapted to the needs of the Venezuelan population.
In this regard, the Minister for Communication and Information also mentioned that the central
axis of public management is the dissemination of the truth in a
timely and truthful manner, facing current challenges in the field of communication.
The
activity was also conducive to addressing the issue of the
communication strategy for the
National Popular Consultation 2026, whose slogan “Here the people rule”, seeks to promote mass
participation in 5,336 communes across the country.
In addition, the construction of a new narrative and the technological adaptation to optimize the flow of information to the Venezuelan people were also discussed.
