SENIAT raised more than 256 billion bolivars in January

The National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) reported that the collection for the month of January 2026 was 256 billion 989 million 474 thousand 510 bolivars.

Through its Instagram account, the entity explained that the income received was: “Income Tax (ISLR) 56 billion 531 million 876 thousand 963 bolivars, while the amount collected for Value Added Tax (VAT) is 97 billion 450 million 362 thousand 640 bolivars”.

Meanwhile, in terms of customs, “73 billion 569 million 545 thousand 934 bolivars were reached and what was obtained in other Internal Revenues is 29 billion 437 million 688,974 bolivars. Internal Revenue includes tax revenues for cigarettes, liquor, inheritances, fines , interest and other items.”

In this regard, Superintendent José David Cabello pointed out that “these figures demonstrate the clear intention of the Bolivarian Government to continue raising resources for the country's social and economic welfare, as contemplated by the first transformation of the Plan of the Seven Ts, which includes issues related to food sovereignty, sovereign management of income, consolidation of democracy, defense and sovereignty of natural resources and the construction of economic bases”.
