SENIAT raised more than 45 billion bolivars during 2024

So far in 2024, the National Integrated Customs and Tax Service (SENIAT) has collected a total of 45 billion 588 million 827 thousand 701 bolivars, equivalent to 21 million 29 thousand 997 petros, according to the highest authority of SENIAT, José David Cabello.
Through a series of messages published on his X account, he noted that, in February alone, 25 billion 193 million 703 thousand 832 bolivars were collected, that is, 11 million 621,784 petros.
He explained that, of that amount, 5 billion 299 million 246 thousand 946 bolivars (2,444,528 petros) entered the state coffers as income tax. For the Value Added Tax (VAT), 11 billion 759 million 932 thousand 10 bolivars (5,424,823 petros) were collected.
He also highlighted that customs collected 4 billion 85 million 669 thousand 413 bolivars (1,884,708 petros) and for other internal income, 4 billion 48 million 855 thousand 372 bolivars (1,867,726 petros) were obtained.
