Official reports cited by Al Mayadeen indicate that seven earthquakes have been recorded in the capital of Iran, followed by a 5.2-magnitude earthquake that shook Tehran at night.

In the capital city of Iran, they took to the streets of the capital, due to the earthquake that, according to the Seismological Center of the University of Tehran, occurred at 23:29 local time (19:59 GMT), about 42 kilometers from Tehran.

According to this report, the epicenter of the earthquake was located around the city of Malard, located between the provinces of Tehran and Alborz, at a depth of seven kilometers.

The earthquake in the Iranian capital has left no fatalities and has caused only minor damage to a few houses located in the towns close to its epicenter.
