Simon Bolivar School Ship sets sail from Mexico

The Simon Bolivar School Ship completed its official visit to the island of Cozumel, Mexico, as part of the XXXVI Foreign Education Cruise Mares of Union for the Dream of Bolivar 2026.

The Venezuelan vessel closed its passage through Mexican territory and continues its route after completing the planned agenda, the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense reported through its social networks.

During the stay, the crew and cadets participated in formal reception events, as well as a floral offering in homage to local heroes and sporting and cultural events that marked the day.

The agenda also allowed the sharing of expressions of Venezuelan folklore and identity aboard the well-known Ambassador Without Borders, in an experience of exchange with authorities and visitors to the island.
