Social Cabinet and UNESCO coordinate educational and recreational plan after double earthquake

The Social Cabinet of the Bolivarian Government met this Tuesday with a technical committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to articulate strategic efforts in educational matters following the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
During the meeting, both delegations addressed as a priority the rehabilitation of school infrastructure, the planning of protocols for the safe return to classrooms in the academic period 2026-2027 within the affected areas, as well as the optimization and strengthening of risk prevention and management programs that are taught on a daily basis in classrooms.
In the same way, they coordinated a special agenda of recreational, cultural and sports activities that will be deployed in all the country's temporary camps and communes on the occasion of the celebration of Children's Day, reaffirming their gratitude for the solidarity support of international organizations and organized popular power to guarantee the integral well-being and protection of Venezuelan youth during this juncture.
