Users of the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, reported a crash in the service and/or difficulties accessing the platform and uploading content.
The Downdetector website, specialized in monitoring interruptions in online services, registered a significant increase in fault reports starting at 9:00 in the morning. The upward trend continued, peaking at more than 11,166 reports at 9:57 AM.
Oddly enough, the Downdetector graph revealed that a previous failure had already occurred around 6:00 a.m., with an even larger number of reports, reaching 22,427. This initial flaw suggests that technical problems in the social network X began earlier than initially reported, pointing to a possible prolonged instability on the platform.
The uncertainty about the duration of the interruption and the possible technical causes generated an online debate about the reliability of social networks and the need to diversify sources of information.
