Special day of Plan Venezuela Renace intervenes on patients in Nueva Esparta

Through a special deployment of the Venezuela Renace Plan, a total of 70 children and adolescents from the state of Nueva Esparta were treated in the municipalities of Díaz and Marcano.

The free medical day offered timely care through low and medium complexity interventions in the facilities of the Virgen del Valle Type I Hospital (Díaz municipality) and the Dr. Agustín Hernández Hospital (Marcano municipality) detailed a local press release.

In this regard, the entity's single health authority, Ana Michini, reported that each of the patients was previously guaranteed comprehensive medical evaluation and preoperative laboratory tests at no cost. He added that among the surgical procedures performed, the correction of umbilical and inguinal hernias, phimosis, hydroceles and various dermatological conditions stand out.
