President (E) Rodríguez oversaw construction of the Transitional Single Family Camp in Ciudad Caribia

This Friday, August 14, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, oversaw the construction of the new Transitional Single-Family Camps in Ciudad Caribia, intended to benefit more than 4,000 people affected by the earthquakes recorded last June 24.

After touring the spaces, Rodríguez reaffirmed that, through the General Staff for Transitional Camps and Housing and the Presidential Commission, the evolution of this project that is being carried out in Ciudad Caribia is monitored daily.

“We are building eight terraces that will house 2,100 transitory single-family camps,” the president explained, noting that these spaces will allow each family to have an independent area.

He also specified that this project will ensure that children and adolescents return to their classes without problems in the month of September, since families who are in schools that serve as temporary camps will be safely transferred to these new spaces.

In addition, Rodríguez explained that this new camp will have laundry areas, warehouses, sports and recreational spaces, with the purpose of ensuring adequate conditions for affected families .
