Strong earthquake of magnitude 6.2 shook Panama

The United States Geological Survey (USA) recorded a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.2 in Panama this Monday, with an epicenter about 10 kilometers from the Earth's surface over the Pacific Ocean and 206 kilometers south of the Burica Peninsula.
The earthquake occurred at 12:25 (local time), and so far, there are no reports of injuries or material damage.
Colombia's National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) ruled out the risk of a tsunami, while the Emergency Operations Center of the National Civil Protection Service (SINAPROC) reported that the earthquake was perceived in several areas of the New Granada nation and recommended that the population remain calm and follow official information platforms.
